College Radio Woodie Award is Down to 10 Finalists
This week mtvU released the list of the 10 finalists for their annual College Radio Woodie Award. As we wrote last week, the nominations period resulted in a list of 25 college radio stations initially.
If you are interested in voicing your opinion on who the winner should be, you can vote online through March 9.
The winning station will be announced at a ceremony on March 18 at SXSW in Austin. The mtvU Woodies will also air on mtvU and MTV that night at 7pm Central time.
The 10 finalists for the 2012 mtvU College Radio Woodie Award are: ACRN (Ohio University, Athens, OH), KRFH (Humboldt State University, Humboldt, CA), WPTS (University of Pittsburgh) (top 25 in 2011), WASU (Appalachian State University, Boone, NC) (top 10 in 2011), WLOY (Loyola University Maryland, Baltimore, MD) (top 25 in 2011), WDPU (DePaul University, Chicago, IL), Rainy Dawg Radio (University of Washington, Seattle, WA), KSUA (University of Alaska Fairbanks), WVMW (Marywood University, Scranton, PA), and WAIH (SUNY-Potsdam, NY).
