Acknowledging “technical issues” with its Consolidated Database System on Thursday, the FCC has extended the LPFM license application window to Friday at 3 PM Eastern Time (PDF). Prior to these difficulties the application window was scheduled to close today, Thursday, at 6 PM Eastern.
I’m sure there are at least a few applicants glad to get the extra time, especially anyone who experienced difficulties submitting today. Nevertheless, I’ll bet most are hoping there are no more problems tomorrow so that the Commission can get on with the process of reviewing applications.
