At last night’s NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner and Show, Seton Hall University’s college radio station WSOU was named the 2016 Non-Commercial Station of the Year. The metal-oriented college radio station was up against public radio station KPCW-FM (Park City, UT), high school radio station WSDP-FM at Salem High School (Canton, MI) and fellow college radio stations WRHU-FM at Hofstra University (Hempstead, NY) and WHSN-FM at Husson University (Bangor, ME).
Radio Station Tours Resume
I’m working to get caught up on my backlog of radio station tour reports from my summer travels. First up, I share my tour of college radio station KUCI at University of California, Irvine. In a fitting coincidence, KUCI General Manager Kevin Stockdale celebrated 33 years at the station TODAY.
