LPFM Watch: New LPFM has interest in Historic Preservation and the Arts
I was pleased to see evidence of the growth of low power FM (LPFM) in the FCC’s latest quarterly update about the number of licensed broadcast stations in the United States. By the end of September, 2015, there were 1,364 licensed LPFM stations, which was 215 more than at the end of June, 2015. (more…)

The FCC released its quarterly list of the total number of licensed broadcast stations. Following the same trend that we’ve seen, the number of licensed stations continues to grow, with the current grand total at 15,470 licensed full power radio stations as of September 30, 2015. (more…)
